Today’s Countdown to Christmas 2013 featured project is a great gift idea for anyone on your Christmas list, especially for those difficult to buy for people who have everything. Today’s featured gift idea is pictured below, a metal embossed mosaic picture frame, ‘Winter Wonderland II’.
Isn’t this frame beautiful? I absolutely love working with metal for the result always looks as though you purchased the frame from a expensive and fancy boutique. Over the years, I have gifted several metal embossed picture frames similar to ‘Winter Wonderland II’ . Every single recipients has always said “WOW! Where did you buy this? It is so unique” They are always surprised when I tell them that I made it especially for them.
If you have been following Scrap N Grow’s Countdown to Christmas 2013, today’s featured metal embossed mosaic picture frame closely resembles a frame I featured earlier this week, ‘Winter Wonderland’. Click here to view ‘Winter Wonderland I’. Like ‘Winter Wonderland I’ ,’Winter Wonderland II’ features metal embossed mosaic tiles, but on a much larger scale. The frame size is larger as well, 12X12 inches, and the metal embossed imagery is direction specific. Because of these differences, it took additional time and planning in order to create ‘Winter Wonderland II’.
Similarly, ‘Winter Wonderland II’ also features Wondrous White Add A Little Dazzle metal sheets and showcases a variety of winter and nature themed embossed imagery. Because I know many of you will email me requesting a tutorial, I will tell you now, that I previously composed an in depth, pictorial tutorial for ‘Winter Wonderland I’. Click here to receive and download the ‘Winter Wonderland’ tutorial from Add A Little Dazzle. As stated above, ‘Winter Wonderland II’ required more calculations and planning. Each frame will vary depending on the imagery selected, therefore, I will not write a tutorial for ‘Winter Wonderland II’. Listed below is a list of supplies used to create ‘Winter Wonderland II’.
