Hello everyone.  Today I am back after spending 8 hours spring cleaning my garden beds.  It was such a rush to see the plants slowly poking through the soil after clearing away the dead foliage. Ok, back to today’s post.  Recently, I had a request to show a “She Art” inspired girl.  Christy Tomlinson teaches several online classes which I highly recommend, but today, I am referring to “She Art 1 & 2″. I have taken both classes and Christy is such an awesome, down to earth teacher.  In She Art 1, she guides you through the entire process of making your own “She Art” girl and introduces the student to different media and incorporates several techniques. And in “She Art 2″, Christy provides additional instruction on how to further customize your girls including the painting of faces.  I find it a bit ironic that earlier this week, Christy posted a behind the scene’s video that highlights the overall construction process of a “She Art” girl. Click here to go to her blog and view the video.  Her She Art classes are available for immediate instruction and I believe are accessible for an entire year.  Shown below is one of my first “She Art” girls.  I should also tell you that she has a mixed media store as well called Scarlet Lime.
